Signing off for a few days! We are off to CA tomorrow bright and early for Bhakti Fest!
So psyched! We had an amazing time at the festival last year and we are thrilled to make it again this year (despite being on the opposite end of the US this time around!)
I’m really looking forward to seeing Gaura Vani and As Kindred Spirits, Krishna Das, Jai Uttal (missed him last year sadly!), the Wild Lotus Band and Dasi Karnamrita (just to name a few!).
Bhakti Fest has a glaring lack of Ashtanga. But, I’m really looking forward to a little yoga spice! It’s good to mix it up sometimes, try new things and have some fun. I’m excited to get some new sequence inspirations for my Vinyasa classes.
One class I am definitely looking forward to is with Scott Blossom. I attended his workshop at the Telluride Yoga Festival last year and I was very impressed. He’s legit.
HH Radhanath Swami will be there again this year too. It’s always an honor to be in his presence. Such a beautiful soul.
Of course I’m also super-duper pumped about all the awesome food at Bhakti Fest! It’s a vegetarian’s paradise…..so much variety of tastiness! Love those cacao acai bowls in the morning – scrumptious!
Are any of my readers going to the festival? If so, what are you looking forward to most?? Favorite kirtan-wallahs? Yoga teachers? Lectures? Let me know!
Love and Blessings,
Be back next week!
